Sally's Biking 4 Brainray
At Battle Biker Drop-In we are very keen to support and promote worthwhile initiatives when we get to hear about them and this particular one is right at the top of our list.
Sally and Richard dropped in at the station recently to let us know about their mission to undertake a motorcycle trip around the coast of Britain in order to raise funds towards the purchase of a Surgical Navigation Unit (Brainray) for Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre.
Hurstwood Park is the only operating neurological hospital in the South-East of England.
The total mileage will be around 3500 miles and should be completed in 14 days.
The epic journey starts at 11.00am on Sunday 29 June 2008 from Madeira Drive, Brighton in East Sussex.
We'll be there to see Sally and Richard off and will be updating this page during the course of their journey.
And they're off ....
After months of planning, Sally and Richard leave Madeira Drive, Brighton to start their epic trip around the coast of Britain.
Good luck to you both from all at Battle Fire Station. Have a safe trip and fingers crossed for two weeks of glorious sunshine!
